This program will provide an understanding of how school finance works in New Jersey, with a focus on the board's role in this critical area of governance. Board members are crucial to the development and implementation of policies that help shape the educational environment and impact the success of students. This program provides an in-depth look at how board members can ensure policies are properly developed, disseminated, and implemented. Further, it will address how board members can work towards maintenance of its policy manual through the storms of both legal and community driven changes.
